Thinking
of Cooling your House, Factory, Business or any building that is uncomfortably
HOT?
Ceiling
Fans.
While ceiling fans are inexpensive to buy, after you purchase one for
each bedroom, lounge etc, and after fitting, the price is not much different
to a Natural Cool Air fan. Another point to note is that you are
moving the same air around, and the ceiling, where the heat originates
from, is left unattended!
Whirly
Birds.
Recently a big resurgence has happened with whirly birds as they are seen
to be inexpensive and environmentally friendly. Whirly birds are designed
to perform at their best when a wind of some 15 knots is blowing. So when
there is no wind blowing they are only moving the hot air that is naturally
rising. This no wind situation would mean that you would need some 75
whirly birds to do the same job as the smallest Natural Cool Air
fan in a no wind situation, and it is at this time when you need air movement
the most!
Evaporative
Coolers.
On the coastal plain the air is humid and to introduce more moisture into
your environment would make for a very wet, sticky situation. If you turn
off the water, you are left with a less amount of air than a Natural
Cool Air fan and no ceiling space cooling. Add the cost of servicing
every year and the initial costs and you're in the picture. Evaporative
coolers, great for west of the Great Dividing Range.
Insulation.
The ceiling space is where your house heats up. The roof heats up, the
ceiling space heats up and in turn the ceiling heats up, transferring
this heat indoors. Insulation stops the initial heat but in prolonged
heat situations, the whole house heats up and then into the evenings the
house remains hot. Insulation, great for winter!
Air
Conditioning.
With an air conditioner, you are manufacturing cool air, so naturally,
they are expensive to run and maintain let alone the initial purchase
price. We all know what an air conditioning environment is like.
Whole
House Fans.
Natural Cool Air has gone to considerable expense to develop a fan
that not only performs well, but also is quiet, inexpensive to run, maintenance
free and affordable. Quite simply, a Natural Cool Air fan pulls
air from the open windows and doors and exhausts the same air through
the ceiling space and out. By changing the air in your house every minute
and the ceiling space every 20 seconds, your house is not allowed to build
up any heat, thus leaving a cool fresh comfortable feeling inside. Natural
Cool Air fans have been installed in countless domestic and commercial
situations and they work! At around 4 cents and hour to run, no wonder
this type of system is fast becoming a natural choice.
